Planning
A relaxed conversation about your child, your home, and the wall you want to fill. We choose the setting together, in the Bellaire studio or on location, and plan clothing they will feel comfortable in.
The Session
Patient, playful, and unhurried. Your child sets the pace while Donnie guides gently, waiting for the real expression you recognize as theirs. Siblings can be photographed together and on their own.
Design & Reveal
You return to the studio to see your portraits at true scale and design your artwork together, choosing the pieces, sizes, and finishes that belong in your home.
Your Artwork
Archival materials, hand finished framing, and a Certificate of Authenticity. You collect your finished pieces in person at the studio, ready for your walls.
Children's portrait investment
Your session is always free. A $299 retainer holds your date and is credited in full toward your artwork. Commissions begin at $950, and there are no set packages. You build the collection that fits your home.
As your collection grows, pieces are included: a Companion Set at $1,500, a Fine Art Album at $3,000, and your complete digital collection at $5,000.
Children's portrait questions
There is no wrong age. We photograph children from the earliest years through the teenage ones, individually or as siblings. The right time is usually the age you never want to forget.
We let children be children. Your child sets the pace and we never rush a moment, so a true expression can arrive on its own instead of being forced.
Clothing they are comfortable in, in soft and timeless tones. A comfortable child will always photograph better than a perfectly styled unhappy child. Our What to Wear guide has palettes for children.
Yes. Siblings can be photographed together and on their own, and a parent can join for portraits with their child. For every generation together, our family portraits are designed for that.
